pH Plus

The correctly set pH value of water in the pool is a precondition for perfect functioning of an overwhelming majority of the agents from the PROPOOL range as well as for creation of pleasant swimming conditions. The pH value of water should be between 6.8 and 7.6; this may be verified by means of a suitable pool tester.

Product information

A pH value above 7.6 may lead to mineral turbidity, the filtering system may become blocked, the disinfection efficiency is reduced, the eyes and skin become irritated. A pH value below 6.8 causes metal and concrete corrosion, discolouring, eye and skin irritation. If the pH value is lower than 6.8, use pH PLUS to increase it. Each 100 g of pH PLUS added per 10 m3 of water in the pool will increase the pH by ~0.1. The measured amount of the product is dissolved in water in a plastic bucket and the solution is poured into the deepest part of the pool while water circulation is on. After all the water in the pool is perfectly mixed, the pH value is measured again and the whole procedure may be repeated depending on the result.
