Keeping the water pH within the acceptable range is a precondition for problem-free water maintenance in the pond. The optimum pH is from pH 6.5 to pH 8.0. Use an appropriate pH tester to measure the value.
If the pH is higher than 8.0, use pH MINUS in a ratio of 1 litre per 100 m3 of water to lower the pH by proximately 0.1 provided that the water carbonate hardness is OK.
If the carbonate hardness is too low, add less than indicated above. Apply the product diluted with water (1 part pH MINUS to 2-5 parts of water) from a watering can to the pond surface. When lowering the pH, proceed slowly enough for the pH not to decrease more than by 1.0 within 24 hours. The pH in the pond should be measured on an ongoing basis.
Remember that the pH fluctuates during the day. Always compare pH levels measured at the same time of the day.”
