Water hardness caused due to an increased content of mineral substances, calcium and magnesium may be the reason for a number of problems occurring during pool water treatment, e.g. undesired water colouring, turbidity or mineral sediments.

Product information

Before the pool is filled with water, especially if water from wells is used, it is advisable to determine its hardness. If the water is hard (above 200 ppm), it is advisable to add this product immediately after the pool is filled with water; the product sorbs calcium and magnesium ions and other mineral substances and reduces their adverse effects. The initial amount of the product is 250 ml per 10 m3 of water; if the water is very hard (>300 ppm), increase the dosage to 500 ml per 10 m3 of water. In order to remove already created colouring or turbidity, and at the end of the season, the amount to be added is always 500 ml per 10 m3 of water. The measured amount is slowly poured into the skimmer while the water circulation is switched on. It is suitable to use the product while water is treated with chlorine or oxygen products.
